Easily one of the best albums of the year, Ranā skillfully combine the extremest elements of black metal with the meditative ones of post-rock and shoegaze. The resulting potion is a transcendental record that explores arcane and unknown territories while never failing to stay warmly familiar. musicfed
The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.

I am hoping this record is the first of many. Sonically raw and will go well in anyone's collection along side WITTR and Dödsrit. incredible drumming and furious vocals. jackworm
Polish noise-crust outfit eschews the big Tragedy-esque riffs still popular with their US counterparts for scratchy claustrophobia. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 2, 2016
What an absolutely beautiful album! This is what black metal really leads to; beautiful and powerful expressions of anger, mourning, and joy that lead to real change for those suffering! I can’t say enough good things about this album! The huge range of genres is incredible as well! deathmoth829
